River Rock
River rock is available in about 4 different types currently. We have it palletized from Virginia in 4-6” size and about 12-18”. These are usually darker stones and are hand selected. A lighter color is from the Nolichucky river in an orangey brown color. It is sold by the scoop and comes in a 1”-3”(great for old mulch beds final replacement!) and a 4-12”(good for short borders). Dump truck or boom truck (for palletized stone) delivery available.

Flagstone
We carry natural flagstone from Tennessee, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. Flagstone is widely used as a patio stone or to make steppers (flagstone spaced on natural ground). Flagstone is generally sold in 2-2.5” thickness and 1” and under in thickness. The sizes can be approximately 3-5 pieces per layer on a pallet. We also carry large flagstones as big as car hoods in 2” thickness. We found it best to use the 1” and under flagstone on top of a concrete base, while the 2” can go on the ground or a chat base. Pick it up or have us deliver it via boom truck.

TN Fieldstone
Fieldstone may have many colors in each pallet so it’s often best to come to the stoneyard and look at it in person. The types of fieldstone are generally categorized by shape and/or size. 3”-5” is a great size for a building stone and doing dry stacked work, while 2” and under is often used as a “stick on”. Ashlar is a stone that is snapped into a generally square or rectangular shape and is used for columns and fireplaces to achieve crisp corners. Thin stack is usually 2” and under in thickness and is often about 4-6” in width (great for stacking flowerbeds or mixed with building stone on a masonry wall). Pickup or delivery available.

North Carolina
North Carolina is a state blessed with many color varieties. We usually have at least 7-8 different types at any time. We carry the thin 1-2” most often because of its popular use as either a “stick on” for masonry walls or dry stacked for flower beds. It is available in a thicker 3-4” upon request.

Boulders
Boulders are available for pickup or delivery. We can set boulders for you up to 6 feet away from a level parking spot with our boom truck (local conditions apply). These are great for an occasional spot for style and practicality, nothing says stay off my lawn like a big boulder in the way! We actually use boulders to build some of our coolest projects including fire caves and waterfalls.

Manufactured Stone
Our manufactured stone is proudly made in the great state of Tennessee. Manufactured by Stonehouse Solutions in Knoxville, TN, it is always made with a full body color and no large aggregates so if a piece ever chips it still looks more natural. Pick any style and color combination and get it ordered. We have any samples in our showroom!
Travertine
Travertine is harvested in Turkey, yes, across the ocean. It has long been used for some of the worlds finest projects and is available at Johnson City Pools and Stone. We find it very uniform for quality and a great way to add a finer touch to any style you have going, just pick the best color for you. For inspiration go to YouTube and find “When rustic met classy” or “cozy anytime” on the Johnson City Pools and Stone channel.
Mantels
Our mantels are made by the good ‘ol boys of North Carolina. These come in Walnut, Oak, Cherry, and Pine. Inside the office we have finished pieces ready for you to install or we can show you more available that are unfinished.
Quarry Cut
